SallyGearySally A. Geary, 93, of Beaver Dam, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. She was born April 20, 1920, in Glendean, Ky., located in Butler County to the late Samuel and Mattie Robert Smith Evans.

She was a member of Leach General Baptist Church in Horse Branch and she was a homemaker.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Geary; two daughters, Rose Maiden and Helen Marie Geary and one grandson, Michael Kassinger and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Ronnie Geary of Morgantown, W.R. “Bill” Geary of Horse Branch and Rayburn L. Geary of Morgantown; five daughters, Sandra Phelps of Centertown, Matty Bratcher of Beaver Dam, Kay Kassinger of Beaver Dam, Anna Fillmore of Camby, Ind., and Faye Naue of Horse Branch; one brother, Tom Evans of Illinois, 35 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Ricky Dockery and Rev. Terry Tarrance officiating. Burial will be in Geary Cemetery in Horse Branch. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
