MarjorieCroweMarjorie Oma Crowe, 88, of New Albany, Ind., formerly of Ohio County, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was born June 5, 1924, in Simmons, Ky., near McHenry to the late Daniel Lee and Delia Ann Burden Moore.

She was a retired dishwasher for Host International and Holiday House and was of Church of God faith.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Milton Crowe; three brothers, L.B. Moore, Arthur Edward Moore and Bunton Moore and four sisters, Wanda Hunt, Jewell Ferguson, Jean Hassell and Bessie Evans.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Kenny Briscoe of New Albany; two sons, Harrison (Tina) Crowe of Morgantown and Milton Glenn (Linda) Crowe of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Wima (Aaron) Daugherty of Louisville and Neta Stofer of Owensboro, eight grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
