Bettye J. Clubb, 80, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born May 21, 1932, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Ira and Altha Leach.
She was a member of Grace Pointe Church in Owensboro and a homemaker.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd J. Clubb; one son, Robert Porter; two brothers, Totty Leach and Larry Leach and one sister, Doris Newcom.
Survivors include one son Terry Porter of Owensboro; three sisters, Wanda Stevenson of Napa, Calif., Barbara Adkins of El Cajon, Calif., and Martha Foreman of Owensboro. She was blessed with one granddaughter, Holly Goodyear; one great-grandson and great-granddaughter, Zachary Blackwell and Emily Jones. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Mitchell Donohue officiating. Burial will be in Rosine Cemetery in Rosine. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
