Dennie C. “Beercan” Lindsey, 64, of Rockport, Ky., passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born July 4, 1948, in Echols, Ky., to the late Otis and Juanita Salings Lindsey.
He worked as a laborer and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry Lindsey, Oscar Lindsey and Cameron Lindsey and his sister, Laura Kay Poyner.
He is survived by two brothers, Frankie Lindsey and wife Faye of Girard, Ohio, and Larry Lindsey and wife Betty of Rockport, Ky.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Lealin Geary and Rev. Kenny Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in Echols Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral Home. Wesley C. Phelps Honor Guard will provide Military rights.
