Chad Lee Arnold, 33, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. He was born Sept. 12, 1979, in Hartford, Ky., to Robert and Marilyn “Moody” Baize Arnold.
He attended Echols Church of God and worked in railroad maintenance at TVA. Chad was also the 4th grade basketball coach for Beaver Dam Elementary Beavers. He was a member of the Centertown Masonic Lodge #714 F&AM and Rizpah Shriners in Madisonville. Chad was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan, he also loved hunting, NASCAR and sports. Chad’s most precious thing in life was coaching and being active with his son, Miles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Arnold; maternal grandparents, Othie and Lettie Baize and his paternal great grandparents, Charlie and Orena Duvall.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Casey Walker Arnold of Beaver Dam; his son, Miles Lee Arnold of Beaver Dam; his parents, Bobby and Moody Arnold of Centertown; a brother, Jason Arnold and wife Shelly of Centertown; a sister, Kim Smith and husband Ed of Centertown; his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Mary Wright; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Darlene and Elvis Jones of Hartford; eight nieces and nephews, Caitlin Stout, Chase Arnold, Kaleb Sapp, Grayson Stout, Gunnar Arnold, Reagan Smith, Ashton Smith and Asia Smith. Close family friends, Butch and Brenda Wilson and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Brian Shaver officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Masonic Rites Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
