Ancel Thomas Embry, Sr., 75, of McHenry, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mr. Embry was born Sept. 22, 1937, in McHenry to the late Mack and Velsie Maddox Embry.
He was a United States Air Force veteran and was self-employed.
Survivors include his daughter, Rhonda Burnett; two step-daughters, JoAnn Butler and Rebecca Fulkerson; three brothers, Roger Embry, Randall Embry and Charles Embry; two sisters, Catherine Embry and Wilma Roof and one grandchild, Chase Levi Burnett.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m Saturday, Feb. 2, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Marty Bowlds and Rev. Paul Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Military rights will be provided by Wesley Phelps Honor Guard.
