Stella Mae Dockery, 57, of Beaver Dam, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. She was born May 5, 1955 in Jefferson County, Ky., to the late Edward Filback and Louise Evans Filback Young.
She was a member of Longview General Baptist Church near Beaver Dam and a retired line leader at Nestaway.
Beside her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Helbert Dockery and a sister, Libby Felty.
Survivors include her mother, Louise Filback Young of Beaver Dam; two sons Carl Zwanzig and Jeff Dockery both of Beaver Dam; three daughters, Beverly Townsley of Beaver Dam, Lisa Brandon of Hartford and Georgia Brown of Beaver Dam; three brothers, John E. Filback of Cromwell, Donald R. Filback of Horse Branch and Mark A. Filback of Beaver Dam; three sisters, Joan Jackson, Lou Ann Coyle and Vickie Tindale all of Beaver Dam. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at William L. Danks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Zion Harmony Cemetery in Butler County, Ky. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday and 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
