Patrick James Maas, 63 of McHenry, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Baptist Northeast Hospital in LaGrange, Kentucky. He was born August 17, 1949, in Gary, Ind., to Leroy and Evelyn Maas.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and worked as a crane operator for a steel mill.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Smith Maas of McHenry; three daughters, Patricia Daves of Clay, Ky., Heather Maas of Elizabethtown and Leslie Maas of Chicago; his mother, Evelyn Maas of Illinois; two brothers, John Cooper of Illinois and Leroy Maas of Indiana and nine grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, at McHenry Baptist Church. William L. Danks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
