C. Dwight Flener, 78, of Centertown, passed away, Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. He was born Sept. 15, 1934 in Butler Co., Ky. to the late Leanord and Elsie Burden Flener.
He was a member of Smallhouse Baptist Church in Kronos Community of Ohio Co. and he was a farmer.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Lorice and Rayburn Howard.
Survivors include his wife, Evanell Peters Flener of Centertown; one son, Robbie (Tina) Flener of McHenry; one daughter, Regina Kidd of Centertown; one brother, Dwayne (Flossie) Flener of Louisville. Mr. Flener was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Geary, Casey Geary, Tyler West and Jackson Flener and 1 great-granddaughter, Ivy Lynn Geary.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Smallhouse Cemetery near Centertown. Family will meet with family and friends at 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery.
