Opal Adams, 89, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at her residence. She was born Oct. 19, 1923, in Barnetts Creek, Ky. to the late Dave Sluce and Daisy Sluce.
She was a homemaker and was employed with Western KY MFG. She was also a member of Church of Christ at Beaver Dam.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Adams and sister and brother-n-law, Ester and Bud Page.
Survivors include one son, Mark G. Adams of Beaver Dam, one brother and two sisters. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Mike Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Green River Cemetery near Cromwell. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
