Emma Lorene Burch, 75, of Rockport, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, in Hartford. She was born April 11, 1937, in Bee Springs, Ky., to the late Eucklet and Virginia Sensabaugh Souders.
She was a member of Lonestar General Baptist Church and was a retired assembly line group leader at Thomas Industries.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and one grandson, Dennis Ray Farris Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Sue Farris and husband Dennis of Rockport, Ky., and Virginia Kinsell and Husband Clinton of Horse Branch; two sisters, Alma Moore of Louisville and JoAnn Waters and husband Jerry of Beaver Dam; one brother, Paul Souders and wife Kathy of Brownsville; two granddaughters, Denise Baggarly of Rockport, Ky., and Chrissy Whitman of Horse Branch, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Kenny Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in McGrady Creek Cemetery in Grayson County, Ky., near Horse Branch. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
