Nora Lucille Burden, 86, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Professional Care Health and Rehab in Hartford. She was born in Hopkins County, Ky., on Sept. 19, 1926, daughter of the late Ewell and Lydia Williams Hibbs.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Shelby H. Burden and daughter Ruth Stevens.
Survivors include one son, Shelby (Beverly) Burden of Beaver Dam; one daughter, Phyllis (Mike) Huntley of Spartanburg, S.C.; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Joe Hibbs of Evansville, Ind., and two sisters, Helen Osborne and Mildred Swanson both of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral
Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
