Samuel Wesley Culbertson, 69, of Cromwell, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at his home. He was born Dec. 13, 1942, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Robert and Myrtle Beasley Culbertson.
He was of Baptist faith and worked as an automotive mechanic and timber cutter. Samuel was a United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Connie Culbertson, and his granddaughter, Elizabeth Nicole Kelley.
Survivors include his wife, Dumma Darlene Allen Culbertson of Cromwell; one son, Paul (Kim Black) Culbertson of Beaver Dam; three daughters, Tracy (Jimmy) Rone of Centertown, Patricia (Dwayne Baize) Allen of Olaton and Barbara (Frank) Allen of Prentis; two brothers, Bobby Culbertson of Owensboro and Darrell (Trish) Culbertson of Henderson; two sisters, Ruby Johnson of Owensboro and Faye (Rick) Johnson of South Carolina and five grandchildren, Paul Culbertson, Jr., Carolyn Darlene Kelley, Samantha Lois Baggarly, Rebecka Ann Baggarly and Ethan Dale Allen.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Earnest Whitely officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery located in Ohio County near Cromwell. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
