C.M. ‘Chuck’ Everly

C.M. “Chuck” Everly, 92, passed away Sept. 3, 2012 in Port Clinton, Ohio. Chuck was born in Ohio County to the late Vernon and Mabel Everly.

He was also preceded in death by his four brothers Paul, Rodger, Gordon and Jimmy Everly.

Chuck served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, retiring as a Medical Service Officer. He served in the European Theater (Scotland, England and France) during World War II. Also he retired with 20 years service as a Public Health Officer for the State of Ohio. He also served in Korea and Vietnam. Chuck was a member of The Grand Lodge of Kentucky.

He is survived by his son C.V. (Jackie) Everly of Port Clinton, Ohio granddaughter Lisa Marie Everly, grandson Marcus Everly, great-grandson Austin Everly and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Ceralvo Cemetery in Ohio County with Brother Marty Bowlds officiating. Ohio County Honor Guard will perform military rites.  Bevil Bros. Funeral Home is in charge of  arrangements.
