Donald Wade “Bud” Bush Jr., 58, of Owensboro, formerly of Ohio County, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at his home. He was born Nov. 14, 1953, in Owensboro to Donald Wade Bush Sr. and Jessie Glynn Calloway Bush.
He was of Baptist faith and worked as an Electrician for the 1701 Electrical Union IBEW.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie “Polly” Calloway Foreman and his sister, Martkia Cox.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Wade “Bud” Bush, III and wife Beth of Owensboro and Coy Michael Bush of Owensboro; his father, Donald Wade Bush Sr. and wife Doreen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one brother, Terry Allen Bush of Madisonville; one sister, Judy Barger of Madisonville; the loving mother of his children, Joanna Bush of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Ba’ly (Angel) Bush, Izak Barnett and Maci Barnett and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Family requests that expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Donald Wade “Bud” Bush Jr. Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
