Brenda Sue Morris, 62, of Horse Branch, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at her residence. She was born Sept. 18, 1949, in McHenry, Ky., to the late Elmer and Lorene Keown Burden.
She was retired from Sumitomo and a member of New Zion Baptist Church in Baizetown.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her twin sisters, Edna Rae and Mary Faye Burden.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Danny Morris of Horse Branch; two daughters, Mary (Todd) Wallace of Horse Branch and Linda Carol (Lynn) Spigelmire of Wooster, Ohio; two brothers, Terry (Patty) Burden of Hartford and Roger (Linda) Burden of Evansville; one sister, Linda (John) Coleman of Morgantown. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Macy Lynn Spigelmire of Wooster and Michael Wallace of Horse Branch. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 9, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Gerald Geary officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Rosine. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
