Wilda Jean Simpson, 81, of Beaver Dam died Sunday August 5, 2012 at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Ohio County to the late Oden and Ola Sailing Goff.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed growing irises.
Wilda was preceded in death by her husband John Simpson and two sisters, Christine Scott and Betty Geary.
She is survived by her son Stephen D. Chapman of Princeton, West Virginia; four brothers, R.L. Goff of Beaver Dam, Bobby Joe Goff of Browder, James Goff of Echols and Roger Goff of McHenry; two grandchildren, Stephanie Heflin of Beaver Dam and Chad Chapman of Olaton; three great-grandchildren, Cody Heflin, Colby and Collin Chapman.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Lealin Geary officiating. Burial will be in Echols Cemetery.
