Louise Rone Burris, age 88 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2012, at Professional Care in Hartford. She was born Oct. 31, 1923, to the late Guy and Muriel Kennedy Rone in Butler County.
She retired from General Electric Company after 35 years. She attended Hartford Baptist Church, was a lifetime member of the historical society and a member of AARP.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lowell G. Burris; her parents, Guy and Muriel Kennedy Rone; her sister, Ella Southard and five brothers, Floyd, Guy Jr., Kenneth, David and Glenn Rone.
Survivors include one daughter, Carlo Triplett and son-in-law Larry of Radcliff, Ky.; one sister, Ruby Burris of Owensboro; two step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and four step-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 30, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Ed Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
