Milford Leach, 56, of Hartford passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born Jan. 31, 1956, in Rosine, Ky., to the late Charles E. and Lillian Daugherty Leach.
He attended Liberty Lighthouse Church of God and was a member of Horse Branch Church of God, worked in maintenance at Wal-Mart, was a part-time maintenance worker at River Bend Apartments and was a member of the United States Army National Guard.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Leach; his sister Juanita Leach and his step-mother, Mary Lorena Lindsey Leach.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Patty Martin Leach of Hartford; three brothers, Charles Leach of Horse Branch, Bruce Leach of Horse Branch, and Russell Leach of Birmingwood, Wis.; six step-brothers, Darrell (Naomi) Lindsey of Beaver Dam, Jarrell (Diana) Lindsey of Hartford, W.C. (Renee) Lindsey of Horse Branch, Chalmer (Sherry) Lindsey of Calhoun, Curtis (Drema) Lindsey of Owensboro and Ferlin (Cheryl) Lindsey of Rosine and three step-sisters, Wilma Martin of Horse Branch, Thelma (George) Norris of Reynolds Station and Patricia Sue Goodwine of Versailles, KY.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Sister Mary Doepel and Rev. Sonny Whitely officiating. Burial will be in Rosine Cemetery in Rosine. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
