Evelyn Autry, 74, of Olaton, passed away, May 19, 2012, at her residence. She was born Feb. 5, 1938, in Horse Branch to the late Harvey and Ella Smith Jones. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Horse Branch and a retired school bus driver for the Ohio County Board of Education.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Doyle Jones and Orville Jones and two sisters, Beulah Smith and Waneda Jones.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Raymond Luther Autry, Sr., of Olaton; one son, Raymond Autry, Jr., of Olaton; one daughter, Carolyn Bratcher of Horse Branch and one grandchild, Jennifer (Brian) O’Neal of Hartford.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Bro. Bruce Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in McCord Cemetery near Rosine. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday and 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
