William Leroy “Little Joe” Myers, 70, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in the Olaton Community of Ohio County, served in the U.S. Marines and was a truck driver for Rone Trucking.
Leroy was a great dad and granddad, an inventor, a great truck driver and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Stella Mae Cundiff Myers, daughter Shannon Myers and granddaughter Megan Barrosso.
Survivors include his wife Grayford Renfrow Myers; son Joe (Jennifer) Myers; daughter Vickie (Donald) Nebel; grandchildren Breanna Nebel, Taylor and William Andrew Villegas, Tyler Ferrie, Brandan, Steve, Renee and Adam Kendall Weiler; brothers Fred and Donnie Myers; sisters Phyllis Hackbarth and Mary Ann Myers.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in Central Grove Cemetery near Centertown.
Friends may visit with the family Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
