Dorothy Downey, 93, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, at the Ohio County Hospital. She was born in McHenry, Ky., on Sept. 4, 1917, daughter of the late Thomas and Vernonia Keown Downey.
Ms. Downey was a homemaker and attended Centertown Baptist Church.
Survivors include sister Alma Napier; one grandson, Richard McDaniel; two great-granddaughters, Cymantha Lyn and Katen Cherie Louisa McDaniel.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 16, at 11 a.m. at Centertown Cemetery.
Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is in charge of arrangements.
