BEAVER DAM, Ky. — The Beaver Dam Tourism Commission has announced the Southern Gospel Explosion will be the second event of its Summer Concert Series at the Beaver Dam Amphitheater.
Gates will open at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20 for the multi-act Southern Gospel Explosion.
The headliners for the event will be The Isaacs. The Isaacs are a family band who released their debut album, Carry Me, in 1994. Out of there 23 albums, four have reached the top 3 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart, two albums place in the top 50 on the Billboard Country chart and five albums made the top 5 on the Billboard Christian chart. Their 2016 release, Nature’s Symphony in 432, received a Grammy nomination for Best Roots Gospel Album.
The Isaacs are frequent performers at the Grand Ole Opry and appear regularly on the Gaither Homecoming videos.
The Southern Gospel Explosion will also feature The McKameys, Dixie Echoes, Blackwood Gospel Group, Jeff and Sheri Easter and m.c. and comedian, Tim Loveless.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Bring your own lawn chairs. Tickets will be available soon.
