The festival kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, with the Beaver Dam Christmas Tree Lighting, a cookie walk and a free movie on a giant screen. The free movie also happens to be the great Christmas classic, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
The Christmas Festival begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, for a full day of activities, including live music, a costume contest, the Jingle Bell Jog 5k, vendor and craft booths and the always super Christmassy Beaver Dam Christmas Parade will begin at 5 p.m.
After the Christmas Parade, stick around for another free amazing Christmas movie on the giant screen, The Polar Express.
All weekend long there will be toy giveaways for the kids, carnival rides, horse and carriage rides, hot chocolate, snacks and food. You’ll even be able to make your own s’mores over a fire.
And, you better believe that Santa Claus will be hanging around the Christmas Festival.
