
Sheena was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Before her illness, Sheena graduated from the Cleveland Bible Institute and loved studying and discussing the Bible. Sheena was a creative writer and avid conversationalist that was always available when family and friends needed someone to listen. She always saw the good in everyone. Kindness was something Sheena exhibited to everyone around her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Sharon (Larry) Rowe; grandmother, Faye Marcum; and son, Darrell Ray Whitaker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Raymond Whitaker; children, Marcy (Steve) Huggins, Micheal (Amanda) Whitman, Heather (Jason) Taylor, Holly (Douglas) Murphy, Stacey Whitaker, Virginia Eleeshia (Jason) Tong and David (Katie) Whitaker; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen Ammon and Lollie (Joe) Ammon; and six nieces and one nephew.
Rev. 21:4 – “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no death, neither sorrow, nor crying; neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.”
Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 12 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Jason Tong officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Aug. 3, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Magan Community Cemetery.
