HARTFORD, Ky. – Bobby Allen Roberts, 46, of Hartford, passed away March 22, 2026, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born in Daviess County, Kentucky, on May 1, 1979, to James Roberts Sr. and Judy Bruington Roberts.
Bobby was a deacon at Hartford Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and serving the children at church. He loved working with his hands and spending time outdoors. Bobby was a selfless man who stayed busy and was always doing something for others.
Bobby is preceded in death by his father, James Roberts Sr; mother-in-law, Barbara Cummins; and brother-in-law, John Cummins.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nikki Cummins Roberts; daughter, Madison Roberts; son, Matthew Roberts (Rachel Moxley); mother, Judy Bruington Roberts; brother, James Roberts Jr.; sisters, Virginia Roberts and Glenita Roberts; father-in-law, Edmond Cummins; sister-in-law, Cynthia Kobylski (Michael); brothers-in-law, Darrel Cummins and Jay-Glenn Cummins; his church family and friends at Hartford Baptist Church; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Hartford Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 25, at 4 p.m. with Bros. Clint White and Jason Tierney presiding. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
