HARTFORD, Ky. — Thomas A. Hardin, 56, of Hartford, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022, in Henderson County. He was born Feb. 11, 1966, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Thomas L. Hardin and Sandria Shown Hardin.

He enjoyed NASCAR racing and UK basketball and was of the Baptist faith.

Tom proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1985 to 1989.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Macon Barrow; uncle, Shaker Hardin; mother-in-law, Violet Lutz; and stepmother, Sharon Hardin.

Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 24 years, Beverly Hardin, of Hartford; five children, Ashley Hardin, of Morgantown, Kentucky, Amanda (Jacob) Barrow, of Savannah, Georgia, Jeffrey (Ashley) Jones Jr. of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Hayley Lynn Hardin (Damian Reyer), of Beaver Dam, and Elizabeth Hardin, of Hartford; 10 grandchildren, Isaac Keown, Jagger Brooks, Jackson Brooks, Gunnar Brooks, Joshua Barrow, Lane Barrow, Bennett Barrow, Madison Stinnett, Elliott Stinnett, and Braxton Reyer; three siblings, Suzanne Strong, of Jackson, Mississippi, Dana Hardin Rowland, of Beaver Dam, and Derek (Jessica) Hardin, of Borden, Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and his baby dog, Luna.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Brent Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery with full military honors by Ohio County Honor Guard. Friends may visit with Tom’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
