SAN ANGELO, Texas — Sharon Lynn Smith Bishop, 70, of San Angelo, passed away on March 4, 2021. She was born on March 5, 1950, in Hartford, Kentucky, to Mary Novie Crowe Smith and Willie Smith.
She graduated from Ohio County High School in 1968 and attended Brescia College. Sharon married Bruce Bishop on July 25, 1970, and had three children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Mary Lorene Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Bishop; daughters, Diana Kristen (Jason) Matthews, Emily Caroline (Moses) Carrillo, and a son, Kevin Andrew Bishop; grandchildren, Elijah Blake Smith Matthews, Rachel Alexandra Matthews, and Faith Lynn Carrillo; sisters, Charlene (James) Wilson and Barbara (Dewey) Minton; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be gathering in Kentucky this Summer to celebrate her life and to share memories.
