HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Marvadene Doolin Tate, 80, of Horse Branch, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020, under the care of Hospice of Ohio County. She was born Sept. 17, 1939, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Paul Doolin and Belva Decker Doolin. Mrs.

Tate retired from Ball Glass and attended Sugar Grove Church of Christ.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William Dean Whitten; two brothers, David Doolin and Eugene Doolin; and two sisters, Anna Mae Wilson and Evalene Nabours.

She leaves behind to treasure many memories, her husband of 37 years, Billy Ray Tate, of Horse Branch; two sons, Ricky Wayne Whitten, of Hammond, Indiana, and Brian Dale Whitten, of Owensboro; one stepson, Bryan Tate, of Hessville, Indiana; one stepdaughter, Tracy McGuire, of Crown Pointe, Indiana; one grandson, Brian Michael Dean Whitten; five stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Danny Doolin, of Evansville, Indiana.

In compliance with health and public safety directives, private services will be held. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky has been entrusted with the arrangements.
