HARTFORD, Ky. — During his daily afternoon update during the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Andy Beshear announced all Kentucky schools will remain closed until April 20, 2020.

About a half-hour ago, Ohio County Schools Superintendent Seth Southard made the announcement on the Ohio County Public Schools Facebook page.

“Ohio County Schools will he closed until April 20, 2020. We will continue to utilize NTI days during this time off except for spring break. I encourage you to continue working on your NTI materials and if you have questions, please reach out to your teacher. We will be sharing more information in the days ahead about the additional NTI materials that will be given and how we will collect the NTI materials.

Stay well! Be safe! Let us know if we can help!

Seth Southard”

Ohio County Schools were already closed this week and set to return back to class April 6, 2020.
