BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Roger D. Leach, 71 of Beaver Dam went to be with his “Sweet Mary” Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Claude and Belvie Leach, of Hartford, Kentucky.

Roger was the retired owner/operator of Leach Logging. He enjoyed planting a garden, watching UK play, fishing, and shooting his guns.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Claudine Jones and Doris Jean Parks; two brothers, Floyd Leach and Larry Leach; a daughter, Cynthia Leach; and his beloved wife of 49 years, Mary Leach.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy (Chad) James, of Beaver Dam, and Traci (Lennie) Midkiff, of Beaver Dam; seven grandkids-Candice, Jasmine, Jessica, Erika, Sheldon, Shane, and Sierra; six great-grandkids, Cullyn, Bella Donna, Nevyn, Ambrosia, Quest, and Atlas; two brothers, Darrel (Betty) Leach and Harrel Leach, both of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Murlene Miller, of Beaver Dam, and Charlotte White, of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Services are 5 p.m. Wednesday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Steve Leach officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at the funeral home.
