BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Billy Gene Burden Jr., 51, of Beaver Dam, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. He was born Aug. 11, 1967, in Hammond, Indiana, to Bill G. Burden and the late Elna Christensen Kidd.
Billy was an Ohio High School graduate and an equipment operator at Perdue. He enjoyed fishing and watching UK basketball with his Dad.
Billy was preceded in death by his mother.
He leaves behind his father, Bill Burden (Vernece Trail); one son, Corey (Felicia) Burden; one daughter, Haley (Dakota) Roberts, both of Butler County, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Kingston and Naomie; six siblings, Jerry (Renee) Burden, of Cromwell, Kentucky, Jeff (Lori) Saucier, of Lake of the Woods, Indiana, Tammy M. Bryant, of McHenry, Kentucky, Tom (Jennifer) Kidd, of Lowell, Indiana, Tammy (Tim) Smith, of Beaver Dam, and Chuck Trail, of Beaver Dam; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in Fisher Cemetery in McHenry. Friends may visit with Billy’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
