BEAVER DAM, Ky. — William Michael “Bill” Black, 57, of Beaver Dam, entered into his eternal home on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at his residence. He was born on April 10, 1961, in Highland Park, Michigan, to Marvin Ray and Deloris Maier Black.

Bill was a member of Oak Grove Church of God and worked in maintenance at Young Manufacturing for the last 27 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Ray Black; father-in-law, O.D. Phelps; brother-in-law, David Nichols; and a nephew, Joseph Phelps.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 36 years, Keta Black, of Beaver Dam; two children, Brittney Black, of Beaver Dam, and Adam (Skye) Black, of Beaver Dam; his mother, Dee Black, of Beaver Dam; siblings, Barbara Nevill, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Bob (Sara) Black, of Hartford, Betty (Jerry) Fields, of Morganfield, Kentucky, Bridget Sexton, of Florida, Brian (Jennifer) Black, of Louisville, Kentucky, Vickie Nichols, of Henderson, Kentucky, Ricky (Kathy) Phelps, of Cromwell, Kentucky, Cindy (Greg) Embry, of Beaver Dam, Terry (Lisa) Phelps, of Cromwell, Sherrel (Donna) Phelps, of Cromwell; and Carol (Scott) Frizzell, of Hartford. Bill was blessed with four grandchildren, Bryson Black, Kash Black, Lawson Black and Eden Black, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Oak Grove Church of God, 10358 KY-505, Cromwell, Kentucky, with Rev. Steve Leach officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Cromwell. Friends may visit with the Black family from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at Oak Grove Church of God.
