OWENSBORO, Ky. — Casey Joe Embry, 30, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018. He was born in Farmington, Missouri, on Aug. 23, 1987, to Elizabeth A. Raymer Durbin.
Casey loved spending time with his children, and was a loving husband, son, and brother. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and loved fishing.
Casey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Charles and Brenda Raymer; his paternal grandparents, John Columbus Embry and Wanda Doty; and Father-in-law, William Miller.
Along with his mother and his stepfather, James Durbin, he is survived by his wife of 14 years, Felicia Embry; his four children, Emma, Landon, Ryder, and Kasie; three siblings, Carl (Rachel) Embry, of Greenville, Kentucky, Natosha (Jimmy) Blacklock, of Hartford, Kentucky, Courtney Embry, of Evansville, Indiana; two step-siblings; Timothy Stacik, of Tell City, Indiana, and Krystal Summers, of McHenry, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, July 12, at 12 p.m. at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory, with burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to The Casey Joe Embry Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
