HARTFORD, Ky. — Shirley Moseley Cooper, 83, of Hartford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born on May 18, 1935, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late William Everett Moseley and Elizabeth Stewart Moseley.

Over her many years she enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was a very devoted member of Hartford Christian Church. She always enjoyed all types of flowers and the beauty they would provide.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Donald M. Cooper; brothers, Ernest Clyde Moseley and Tony Moseley; along with her sisters, Susie Clark, Joyce Moseley, and Jo Moseley.

She is survived by brothers, Roy Moseley, of Owensboro, Kentucky, Tommy Moseley (Frances), of Owensboro, Robert (Bobby) Moseley, of Owensboro, William (Billy) Moseley, and his wife, Tina, of Whitesville, Kentucky, Anderson (Andy) Moseley, of Owensboro; sisters, Carolyn Funk, of Hartford, Ann Rawson, of Hartford, Debra Beard and her husband, Austin, of Whitesville, Marie Hayden and her husband, Marty, of Owensboro, Cathy Logsdon and her husband, Rick, of Owensboro, and Lin Brown, of Owensboro. Also surviving is her Aunt Virginia Boyd, of Utica, Kentucky. And several nieces nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, at Hartford Christian Church in Hartford with Bro. Mike Erwin officiating. Burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home 114 West Walnut St. Hartford. Visitation will be held again on Wednesday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
