WHITESVILLE, Ky. — James Odell “Sonny” Ralph Sr., 70, of Whitesville, passed away on March 4, 2018. He was born Dec. 5, 1947, in Ohio County, Kentucky.
Sonny was retired from Marten Transport where he was a truck driver and a member of the Million Mile Club. He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family, barbeques and traveling.
Sonny is survived by two sons, Steven (Sonya) Ralph and James (Sabrina) Ralph Jr.; two daughters, Christie (Mark) Dame and Niki (Chris) Riley; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, Dennis (Judith) Ralph and Ricky (Martha) Ralph; and three sisters, Charlotte (Tony) Swords, Connie (Tim) Boling and Pam (Barry) Howard; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his dog, Mickey.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at Cecil Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesville, with burial following at Ralph Cemetery in Ohio County. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
