HARTFORD, Ky. — Barbara “Tiny” Hill, 75, of Hartford, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at her residence. She was born Sept. 5, 1942, in Mayking, Kentucky, to the late Cecil Spangler and Ruby Young Spangler.
Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church in Deanfield, Kentucky.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Joe Spangler, Gene Spangler, and Johnny Spangler; and one sister, Janice Lucille Marshall.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Hill, of Hartford; four children, Merrita (Danny) Cosimini, of Tampa, Florida, Diane Hill (David Matthews), of Hartford, Donald (Kimberly) Hill, of Sandborn, Indiana, and Ronald (Angie) Hill, of Washington, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rick (Sally) Spangler, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jerry (Reba) Spangler, of Bardstown, Kentucky; two sisters, Judith (Bill) Wagers, of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Jeanette Brock (Bob Wheeler), of Sturgis, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at Broadway General Baptist Church in McHenry, Kentucky, with Bro. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry, Kentucky. Friends may visit Mrs. Hill’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church.
