FALLS OF ROUGH, Ky. — Ellis B. Tate, 79, of Falls of Rough, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at Norton’s Hospital.
He was retired from Colgate-Palmolive Company and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and Breckinridge Masonic Lodge #67.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Murray And Rosie Tate; a daughter, Angela Sue Harper; and a brother, Belmont Tate.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Sue Tate, of Falls of Rough; a son, Terry Ellis (Felicia) Tate, of Leitchfield, Kentucky; grandchildren, Andrew and Henry Tate, both of Leitchfield; a brother, Murray Wesley Tate, of Louisiana; and sisters, Dorothy Henderson, of Hardinsburg, Kentucky, Jane Hagerman, of Falls of Rough, Betty Lou Cox of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Patsy Hamilton, of Lewisport, Kentucky.
Graveside masonic services are 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Macedonia Cemetery, Falls of Rough, with burial to follow.
Visitation is 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m until 12 noon Wednesday at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville.
