HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Wendell Renfrow, 84, of Horse Branch, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at Norton Hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1933, in Horse Branch to the late Herbert “Tootle” Renfrow and Beulah Bates Renfrow.
He retired from Paramount Pickles in Louisville. Wendell was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Geneva Rains Renfrow; two sons, Johnny and Jeffery Renfrow; five grandchildren; two brothers, Glendell and Elmer Renfrow; and two sisters, Evelene Morris and Maylene Renfrow.
Survivors include four brothers, W.L. (Barbara) Renfrow, of Horse Branch, L.G. (Shirley) Renfrow, of Horse Branch, J.W. (Mae) Renfrow, of Horse Branch, Jerry Renfrow, of Georgetown, Kentucky; two sisters, Pauline Probus, of Horse Branch, and Bertha Laverne Embry, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Rosine Cemetery in Rosine Kentucky. Friends may visit with Wendell’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
