ROSINE, Ky. — Yvonne L. Dixon, 68, of Rosine, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1948, in Owensboro, Ky., to the late George Warden and Erma Smith House.
Mrs.Dixon retired from Ohio County Hospital and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jackie and Butch House; and one sister, Janice Daugherty.
Survivors include her husband, James H. Dixon of Rosine; one daughter, Annette (Michael) Statts, of Owensboro; one son, James “Jimmy” (Penny) LeMasters, of Akron, Ohio; two stepsons, Jimmy and Jerry Dixon, both of McHenry, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Victoria Cannon, of Russellville, Ky., and Patricia Combs, of Beaver Dam, Ky.; four grandchildren, Jonathan Michael Statts, Haley Marie Statts, Lauren Elizabeth Statts, and Justin James LeMasters; six step-grandchildren, Trevor Dixon, Chris Dixon, James Travis Cannon, Kayla House, Kye Dixon, and Aaron Dixon; two great-grandchildren, Grace Mae Statts and Lincoln James LeMasters; 10 stepgreat-grandchildren, Isaiah, Scripture, Tyler, Ryder, Emory, Grayson, Jason, William, Braxton, and Zane; three brothers, Doug (Ovie) House, of Morgantown, Ky., John (Loura) House, of Hartford Ky., and E.V. Tate, of Texas; and one sister, Charlotte Carpenter, of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Glenn Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Rosine Cemetery. Friends may visit with Mrs. Dixon’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
