Janice Carol Phelps, 63, of Central City, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born Feb. 12, 1951, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Joe and Gladys Key Phelps. She was a member of Central City Presbyterian Church and a homemaker.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Decker.
Janice was blessed with one grandson, Dylan Decker of Beaver Dam, survivors also include four sisters Jean Simpson of Central City, June Curtis of Guntersville, Ala., Jenny Knifley of Springfield, Tenn., and Cindy French of Cedar Hill, Tenn.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam are in charge of the arrangements.
