Juanita E. Morris, 83, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at her home. She was born Aug. 11, 1929, in Tennessee to the late William and Myrtle Leach Hurt. She was of Methodist Faith and worked as a sales clerk at K-Mart.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Morris, Sr.; three brothers, Charles Hurt, James D. Hurt and Oswald Hurt and one sister, Thelma Wilson.
She is survived by one son, James D. Morris, Jr. and wife Angela of Crestwood, Ky.; two daughters, Patricia Royal and husband Frank of Bowling Green and Vickie Young of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren, Anthony Morris, Megan Morris, Traci Clark, Tammy Beard, Jason Young and Tonia Cessna, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Albert Earley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Rosine. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
